Stancesational

Wow!This demonstration of precision stancery is surgical. I must applaud. This fine stanceticion has captured the essence of what stance is all about. Look at the form in the wrist as he sips his Americano. Pay close attention to the foot/ankle placement. And to compliment it all with the off hand “thumb-to-pocket” is simply genius. A 5 minute break in this stance is equal to 20 minutes sitting down. Well done my fellow stance practitioner.

It is no secret that stance can heal the soul, but few realize the importance of stance in oral healthcare. Perfect form and precise stance is essential to excellent dentistry with effective pain management. This is an amazing example of the discipline of stance as it applies to dentistry. The adage “Oral health is a window to your overall health” supports the truth that stance is a portal to overall well being.

“Stancenese”

Homestay Family Stance

Staying with the Cobo family and two other spanish students, Paul and Theresa, has been invaluable in our (my wife and I) quest to learn a new language. It has been a rewarding experience to sit around a dinner table with this wonderful family and converse in their native tongue. It has been equally rewarding to meet Theresa from Germany and Paul from Montana, USA. However, it is difficult to have meaningful conversation between people who aren’t fluent in each others language. This is where the universal language of stance comes in handy. We have found common ground in the wonderful world of stancenese. We now share a common bond. This was Theresa’s last day with us so we used stance-ese to say “goodbye”, “adios”, “Tschüss” or possibly “Auf Wiedersehen”

Ecuadorian standers I met in a coffee shop

Ecuadorian standers I met in a coffee shop

I met Gabriela and Alex in a coffee shop while preparing my “Cafe Americano Stance”. They were highly interested in the way that I stand. I tried to explain the philosophy of stance, but it didn’t have much impact until they joined me in stance. The moment that they completed their first stance, they were exuberant with the brilliant glow of life that comes only from one who embraces stance. Welcome, my new friends, to the rewarding world of stance.

Joining Hemispheres

There I was straddling the equator when this lovely young Chilean, Danielle, joined me in stance, uniting the two hemispheres of the earth. Danielle showed a tremendous amount of bravery to jump right in with no training whatsoever. What better place is there to exhibit stancitude then the middle of the earth. Thanks Danielle. What a Great day for standing!

Standing a mile high.

Standing a mile high.

Jeff Alford takes his stance to new heights. No better place to perform a stance of excellence than a mile high in front of 80,000 spectators.

Otavalo Recruit Stander

During my visit with the locals of the Andes Mountains, this Ecuadorian visitor immediately recognized me and offered to pay a large sum for a single lesson. I refused any payment from this fine gentleman and provided an impromptu lesson, pro bono. Xavier was very grateful and went away a changed man. Standing has officially gone international.
